You can explore the Orgosolo Supramonte region in our 4×4 vehicles to discover its hidden secrets and ancient forests, and combine this experience with an excellent shepherd’s lunch, a traditional meal prepared by the skilful hands of a local shepherd, featuring pecorino cheese, sausage, roast suckling pig, boiled sheep, “Mirto” (a liquor made from myrtle) and “Acquavite”, the Sardinian grappa!
Alternatively, you can explore the Supramonte of Dorgali to discover the Toddeitto plateau with its secrets and fantastic views over the Gulf of Orosei, the Ghivine forest, the rock arch of Suttaterra and the Nuragic wall with its wonderful view of the Gorropu canyon. One of our favourites, especially at sunset! Here, too, you can’t miss an excellent traditional lunch (booking in advance required).
If you are an archaeology lover, you won’t want to miss our 4×4 off-road tour in the Supramonte of Oliena in the Lanaitho Valley to discover the beautiful archaeological sites in the valley and visit the beautiful karst spring of Su Gologone.
In Orosei you can also venture out on one of our half-day or full-day 4×4 off-road tours such as, for example, the granite hills between Orosei and Onifai to discover the “Domus de Janas” along the way and its views of the Gulf of Orosei, our beautiful tour to the Oasis of Biderosa and Capo Comino or the visit to Monte Tuttavista just a stone’s throw away from Orosei, one of our favourites even at sunset!
